On November 23, 2025 (JST), as part of our security enhancements during maintenance, we updated the password encryption method for login IDs (accounts).
We would like to inform you about the encryption method update and future measures as follows.
Regarding the Update to the Latest Encryption Method
For existing login IDs, the updated encryption method will be automatically applied during the login process, requiring no action from users.
Additionally, for new login IDs created after maintenance, or for password resets on login IDs that previously used the old encryption method, the updated encryption method will be applied at the time of these operations.
* When using Single Sign-On (SSO), GigaCC does not store passwords, so these passwords are not affected by changes to the encryption method.
Regarding Future Measures
From a security preservation perspective, we will perform password resets for login IDs meeting all of the following conditions, with February 22, 2026 (JST), as the target implementation date.
・Login IDs with no login activity between November 23, 2025, and February 22, 2026 (JST)
・Login IDs with no password change activity between November 23, 2025, and February 22, 2026 (JST)
* Login IDs that have either logged in or changed their password during this period will not be subject to our password reset.
* If your password is reset by us, no email notification with a new password will be sent. To log in with the affected ID, you or your administrator will need to reset the password.
