Further news – Issues with Document Preview Files and Future Actions

Regarding the issue reported on December 15, 2025, concerning larger-than-normal document preview file sizes for the file sharing and shared note features, the process of recreating existing preview files (the recovery operation) was completed on December 19.

With the completion of this operation, we report the situation by period reflecting the recovery completion date and the usage capacity totals as follows.

■Status by Period
* Reflected restoration completion dates in (5) and (6).

・November
  (1) 11/1–11/22: No issues
  (2) 11/23–11/30: Period of malfunction
・December
  (3) Dec 1 – Dec 12: Period of malfunction
  (4) Dec 12: Malfunction fixed
  (5) Dec 13 – Dec 19: Work to recreate existing preview files (restoration work) performed
  (6) Dec 20 onwards: No issues


■Regarding Usage Capacity Totals
* The restoration completion date has been reflected in (6).

Usage capacity calculations will be determined based on the following periods to ensure this issue does not impact your usage:
 - Usage for November 2025 (billed in December 2025):
   Determined based on the period “(1) November 1 to November 22”
 - Usage for December 2025 (billed in January 2026):
   Determined for the period “(6) December 20 to December 31”
